Kickboxing Meadway as a hobby. None of the family could believe it when she told us that she was attending
Kickboxing Meadway lessons and, initially, we thought it was very funny indeed. However, as we began talking to each other in more depth, we began to see the value of what she is doing. As she told us, as an older lady, she feels very vulnerable whilst she is out in the streets. This activity, though it does not happen very often, still happens enough for my mother to be anxious that she cannot look after herself. She decided to register for
Kickboxing Meadway when she heard a friend talking about how wonderful it was and how it had given her new confidence and I really feel that it has done this for my mother as well. So much so that she is now walking with a real spring in her step and she has no fear about going out on her own at all now. Moreover, she is really enjoying her classes and feels that they are giving her some much needed exercise. All in all, I think it is a wonderful thing for her.
